POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN YEAST SIGNAL TRANSDUCTION

Charleston, South Carolina, USA

A postdoctoral position is available July 1, 1998, to study the
regulation of phospholipase D1 in Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Biochem. J.
1995; 307: 799-805)  and Candida albicans (Microbiol. 1997;
143:3521-3526). In Saccharomyces, PLD1 is required for the successful
completion of meiosis and sporulation. In Candida, the enzyme appears
to play a role in the yeast-to-hypha transition.
