YMK1/MLF3 name change

The Saccharomyces Genome Database (SGD) has recently received a
request to change the standard name of YNL073W from YMK1 to MLF3. The
name YMK1 was used in a GenBank entry that has since been updated and
no longer includes the name; in the meantime a paper describing mutant
phenotypes has been published using the name MLF3. Further, one of the
authors of the YMK1 GenBank entry has agreed to the proposed name
change. MLF3 will become the standard name for YNL073W with the next
database update. YMK1 will remain in the database as an alias.  Please
notify the SGD curators if you have a reasonable objection to the new
nomenclature.
