Hi Netters,
I wonder if anyone used the Zeocin marker from invitrogen to
make gene replacement in S. cerevisiae using short flanking homology ?
The Zeocin casette contains the TEF1 promoter and the CYC1 terminator.
Will these regions of homology lower the efficiency of integration
much ?
Grateful for any answer,
Sincerely
Björn Johansson
