PCR from yeast collonies

Hi,

I need to screen for a plasmid I've transformed into yeast. Can I simply
pick a collonie into water and heat at 100 degrees for 5 minutes as I
would for E.coli or do I need to do more to get the DNA out (ie.
detergent/SDS or something else).

If somebody has a quick and easy way to do this I would be most
grateful.

Many thanks,

Stephen Clark.
