Hello all,
SGD has received a proposal to change the standard name of YPR007C from
SPO69 to REC8. Although SPO69 was published first, REC8 is more
descriptive and corresponds to the name of the S. pombe ortholog. In
addition, REC8 is much more widely used in publications.
If there are any objections to this name change, please contact me
(maria at genome.stanford.edu) immediately.
