[Yeast] declumping yeast cells for FACS analysis

Dear colleagues,
I need to analyze cells based on DNA content at various times after starting sporulation. I'm using an SK1 background. I find a lot of clumping even after fixation and sonication of cells. I find that cells separate on sonication but come together again. Is there a treatment that will separate the cells and keep them apart?
Thanks,
Aneesh Panoli
