Subject: [Yeast] catalase deficient strain S. cerevisiae
Message-ID: <19d261990811100838t20ee10c5w5b3bd6992cdb5bc1@mail.gmail.com>
Hi all,
I'm looking for A- and T-catalase deficient strain (double mutant) of S.
cerevisiae (GC1-8B). I would appreciate any help in this matter (whether you
know a possible source where I can find it or have it yourself and don't
mind to share:)
Thank you very much in advance,

Subject: [Yeast] source for cerevisiae a-mating factor
Message-ID: <491C3C0D.70800@ens-lyon.fr>
Hi All,
Does anyone know of a commercial source to get the cerevisiae mating
factor a? (not the alpha one). Alternatively, if anybody has a vector to
express a reombinant a-factor, ideally tagged with some purification
system, that would be very helpful.
Many thanks,
Gael.

Hello,
I am looking for a plasmid-borne, CFP tagged nucleoporin for
expression in budding yeast.
I have found references for integrated CFP tagged NUPs ... and if your
lab would be willing to share, that would be great too!
Thanks!
Oliver

Subject: [Yeast] BrU in yeast
Message-ID: <826A80B4-EBB0-4962-A9B1-85D6B200E034@wistar.org>
Hello,
I am Osamu Iwasaki, posdoc of Wistar Instittute at Philadelphia.
Now I want to label the newly-synthesized transcript in fission yeast.
I want to use BrU, but I could not find the paper in which BrU was
used in yeast.
I could find many papers using BrdU.
Does anyone know whether BrU is available in yeast cells or not?
Thank you,
Osamu

Does anyone have a protocol for the pre-dissection digestion of the asci
of Lachancea kluyveri ? Has anyone carried out successful tetrad
analysis on this yeast?
Thanks,

Hi all,
Just to say that we found a company providing synthetic factor-a (not
alpha) for a fairly decent price: NeoMPS (http://www.neomps.com)
Cheers,
Gael.
