The project involves the use of DNA microarray technology including molecular,
genetic and biochemical techniques aimed at identifying the mechanisms of
action of novel natural products. We anticipate an initial duration of one
year, with renewal up to three years contingent on funding and satisfactory

pharmacology or related discipline. Applicants should have experience in

experiments in yeast species, including biochemical assays and
molecular/genetic studies with yeast mutants. Candidate must have excellent
oral and written communication skills and should be able to work effectively in
a multi-disciplinary research setting. The NCNPR is a university-affiliated
research center that conducts basic and applied research to discover and
develop natural products for use in pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements and
agrichemicals. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
