zebrafish PCR primer design

    I'm interested in people's experiences of using PCR primers 
designed from other teleost sequence data for amplifying zebrafish 
genes. Our lab is finding that even sequences which are highly 
conserved across several freshwater and marine species just don't 
seem to work with zfish, even with a fair amount of degeneracy built 
in.
