Larval feeding habits

I am not sure about the circadian clock, but that is for sure that if the 
incubator is on an opposite cycle as the real world (ie. you feed them 
when they are "sleeping") the embryos will not feed properly and die. 
This accidentally happened to us because of a blackout, and took a while 
to figure it out. (The light comes up when you open the door, so you 
don`t notice the difference). I hope it helped.
