tenure-track positions in Developmental Biology/ Evolution

I am posting this for Jack Lilien (Chair, Dept. of Biol. Sci., Wayne State 

		The Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for several 
tenure-track positions at the full, associate and assistant professor level.  
We are seeking faculty members with their primary research interest in 
molecular genetic analysis of development and evolution.  We are also 
interested in individuals using molecular genetic analysis of development to 
address evolutionary questions.  The department is undergoing a significant 
expansion and will consider applicants in related areas.  

		Substantial space and start-up funds will be made available to the 
successful candidates.  The department occupies a new seven-story research 
building with animal rooms, greenhouses, microscopy facilities, Drosophila 
support facilities, and a molecular biology core facility.

		Applicants must have demonstrated excellence in research and the potential 
for the highest quality teaching.  Candidates will be expected to establish 
and maintain an extramurally funded research program and participate in both 
undergraduate and graduate teaching programs.
