How much work has been done on the development of the GI tract in zebrafish? Are there any GI tract mutants? I'm an MD/PhD about to do a fellowship in pediatric GI, and I'd like to study the molecular genetics of gut development-zebrafish seems like a great system, but I have no direct zebrafish experience. Any advice/direction/names/journal references will be appreciated.
