Postdoctoral and/or Research Technician positions are available
IMMEDIATELY for motivated individuals in a zebrafish genetics laboratory
interested in mechanisms of genomic instability, tissue differentiation,
and cancer. Desired backgrounds include genetics, and molecular biology
techniques. Experience in zebrafish transgenesis would be a plus.
Projects will include development and use of transgenics, mapping and
other means of characterizing new mutations. The postdoctoral position
requires preparation of a fellowship application within a year of
arrival.

The Hershey Medical Center is a large referral center (covering all of
central PA) in Hershey, PA, a family-oriented town 15 minutes drive from
Harrisburg, the capitol of the state of Pennsylvania. We are very
conveniently located relative to other cultural centers- 1.5 hours drive
from Baltimore, a bit more than 2 hours from Philadephia and Washington,
D.C., and 3.5 hours from New York City. Schools are excellent, and the
medical center in strong financial condition. There is excellent
subsidized housing for students and postdocs on campus.

Interested individuals should send:
1) letter of introduction including the applicant's career goals and
view of the ideal position (email is fine)
2) list of references with phone numbers
