Nuesslein-Volhard Lectures at Northeastern University

As part of Northeastern University's 1997-1998 Centennial 
Celebration, the College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of 
Biology are proud to host

Dr. Christiane Nuesslein-Volhard
1995 Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine

for two lectures on May 4, 1998.

Her CAS Nobel Laureate Speaker Series Physiology/Medicine lecture, open
to the general public and entitled "Genetic Analysis of Embryonic
Development in Fish and Flies," will be held in Blackman Auditorium from
12 noon to 1:30 pm.  At 4 pm, Professor Nuesslein-Volhard will present a
scientific seminar, "Sensory Organ Development in the Zebrafish," in
Room 450, Dodge Hall.
