The Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research was established in 1994
and obtained 10 billion SEK earmarked for research. The primary goal of
the Foundation is to improve the scientific and technological competence
in Sweden in areas of relevance for Sweden4s competitiveness. The
research should be of the highest international standing.

The Developmental Biology Programme of the Foundation seeks now to
appoint

2 SENIOR SCIENTISTS (group leaders)

All areas of research of non-mammalian Developmental Biology (e.g.
zebrafish, chick, Xenopus, Drosophila, C. elegans) will be considered.

the laboratory.

Starting salary will be commensurate with experience. The candidate can
freely choose to work within the University in Sweden which best suits
the candidate's research interests. The candidate is also encouraged to
apply for grants from all Swedish Grant Foundations.
