Director of the Zebrafish Facility at Children's Hospital, Boston

The laboratory utilizes zebrafish as a genetic model system to
understand blood disorders. The successful applicant will supervise 11
post-doctoral fellows or graduate students in the care of 26
complementation groups of zebrafish mutants with defective blood
formation.  The director will also be involved in the isolation of
mutant genes by positional cloning methods.  We currently have over
40,000 zebrafish in a 1,000 tank system.  The daily care of the facility
is done by the animal facility.  Some molecular biology experience is
preferred.  BS or MS required.
