Meiogynes

Colleagues,

We are interested in producing zebrafish meiotic gynogens.  Two
questions:

1) Which currently available zebrafish strains give the highest gynogen
survival?  What % survival can we expect?

2) Does anyone have a protocol for using heat shock, rather than
pressure, to block meiosis II?
