Hi, I am new in zfish world. In our lab we test endocrine disruptors in
I was amazed about the low breeding success.
One breeding unit (1f+2m) produces 200-700 eggs.
fertilized 90%
hatching 60%
survival >4w 60%
full-grown 90%

final success: <30%

Also, juveniles develop unequal, from early on there is a wide variability
in sizes.
Is this normal in zfish breeding or should we adjust our methods?

thanks, Leo
