Senior Scientist/ Principal Investigator Positions available

The Institute of Molecular Agrobiology (IMA) is located within the 
campus of The National University of Singapore, and is close to 
other research institutes and centres of molecular biology.  The 
Institute provides excellent research facilities for its scientists to 
carry out molecular research in yeast, plants, animals, fish and 
structural biology.

The Institute currently has 23 research groups and seeks to 
expand further in the coming years.  We are looking for energetic 
and innovative Principal Investigators  to lead research groups in 
the areas of:

Yeast  Biology, preferably in the areas of yeast cell biology.

Structural Biology  or Protein Biochemistry , preferably with an 
emphasis on developing and using methodologies, such as MALDI 
to complement the existing X-ray crystallography groups.

Fish Biology, preferably working in a broad area of developmental 
and cell biology complementing existing Fish Biology groups,  fish 
genomics, or molecular genetics of fish-pathogen interactions.

Animal Biology,  preferably in the area of cell biology and molecular
biology of animal disease, or biology of insects and nematodes with
relevance to plant protection.

Each entry-level appointment comes with full research support for 
supplies and equipment, and three or four fully funded positions, 
including postdoctoral fellows and Ph.D. students. Competitive 
salaries, housing and other benefits are available to qualified 
candidates.
