POSTDOCTORAL POSITION NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH
EMBRYOGENESIS OF THE VASCULAR SYSTEM
A postdoctoral opportunity is available in the Laboratory of
Molecular Genetics, National Institute of Child Health and Human
Development, NIH. The successful candidate will work with a
research group studying the embryogenesis of the vertebrate
circulatory system, using the zebrafish. The lab uses state-of-the-
art genetic, experimental, and molecular approaches to study the
embryonic origins of vascular progenitors, identify and characterize
novel genes involved in blood vessel formation, and examine how
new and previously identified genes guide specification, patterning,
and differentiation of vascular tissues during development.
Research environment, resources, and stipends are excellent. See
http://dir.nichd.nih.gov/lmg/uvo/WEINSLAB.html for more
information on the laboratory and its research. Interested
applicants with less than 5 years' postdoctoral experience should
send a cover letter with a brief description of research experience
and interests, a curriculum vitae, and the names of 3 references via
email to:
