POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AVAILABLE
to study blood vessel development in the zebrafish
A postdoctoral position is available at the National Institutes of
Health, Bethesda, MD, to study vascular development in the
zebrafish. The laboratory uses molecular, cellular, genetic, and
transgenic approaches to study the specification, patterning and
differentiation of embryonic blood vessels. Current areas of
research interest include understanding how blood vessels are
specified and differentiate as arteries or veins, and determining the
molecular basis for novel vascular-specific mutants. For additional
information see http://dir.nichd.nih.gov/lmg/uvo/WEINSLAB.html.
Scientific environment, resources, and stipend support are
excellent. Interested applicants should have a Ph. D. or M. D. and
less than 5 years' postdoctoral experience. Send a curriculum
vitae, bibliography, cover letter with a brief description of research
experience and interests, and the names of 3 references (with
phone numbers) via email to flyingfish2 at nih.gov, or via post to:
