FACULTY POSITION
NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY
The Department of Biology of the College of Arts and Sciences
in conjunction with the Bouve College of Health Sciences and the
College of Computer Science invites applications for a TENURE-
TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSORSHIP available September
2001. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics or a related
discipline and postdoctoral experience. The successful candidate
will be expected to develop an externally funded research program
in Bioinformatics and to participate enthusiastically in
undergraduate and graduate teaching. In addition, the individual
will serve as the department=92s Faculty Program Director for the joint
Northeastern University/Boston University Professional Masters
Program in Bioinformatics.

research interests and plans, and a statement of teaching
experience and interests to the Bioinformatics Faculty Search

letters of reference sent independently to the search committee.
Review of applications will begin on January 10, 2001. The position
is contingent on funding.
