Whole mount TUNEL plus in situ

I have been working on getting whole mount TUNEL to work with 
considerable success.  The problem is,  getting double labeling 
with TUNEL and an in situ to work.  It would be much appreciated if 
someone can point me in the right direction to get to get this 
double labeling to work.
