Postdoctoral Position in Developmental Neurobiology

A 3-6 year postdoctoral position will be available on January 1st 
2001 in my laboratory to investigate the regulation of the 
composition of cell lineages in the developing spinal cord of the 
zebrafish. The aim of the research of the group is to combine 
techniques of experimental embryology (intracellular injection of 
lineage tracers), cell biology (GFP transgenic lines) and molecular 
genetics (Gal4-UAS technique and the analysis of specific 
zebrafish mutants), to characterise the mechanisms and the 
function of signalling pathways involved in the regulation of this 
process. Candidates should have a PhD and a background in 
developmental biology, neurobiology and/or molecular biology.
