Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately to study the
molecular and cellular mechanisms of pattern formation in the
zebrafish embryo.
Areas of primary interest: left-right axis specification,
cardiovascular development, and screening for novel maternal and
zygotic mutations perturbing either of these processes.
For more details, see our laboratory webpage at http://zfin.org/ZFIN.
Children's Hospital has the second largest NIH-sponsored research
budget among U.S. pediatric hospitals and the eighth largest of
any hospital in the country. It is immediately adjacent to the
University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, which includes an
internationally recognized Department of Cell and Developmental
Biology.
Preference will be given to applicants with strong background in
genetics, cell and/or developmental biology, or molecular biology.
Experience with the zebrafish system, although desirable, is not
essential. Please submit a CV and the contact information for three
