research associate position

Research associate needed for a newly formed biotechnology 
company.  The individual taking this position will work under the 
direction of a senior scientist carrying out studies generating and 
characterizing transgenic fish.  The work will involve 
microinjections, breeding, in vitro fertilization, and upkeep of a 
computer database. A working knowledge of molecular techniques 
including plasmid construction, plasmid preparations and PCR is 
required. The required qualifications for the position include a M.S. 
degree in the Biological Sciences and four years of post-graduate 
laboratory work and/or equivalent experience. The salary is 
competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
