****** *** POST-DOCTORAL POSITION

A postdoctoral position is available immediately to study the 
development and evolution of the zebrafish telencephalon through 
comparative functional analysis of gene regulatory regions from 
different vertebrate species. The position is funded as part of a 
HFSP Young Investigators grant, awarded in 2002, and is a 
collaborative project including labs from France, Canada and the 
US.  

The ideal applicant will be proficient in molecular and histological 
techniques with an interest in molecular evolution and/or 
bioinformatics. Previous experience working with the zebrafish 
model system would be beneficial. The opportunity to develop 
additional research projects may be possible.
