The Faculty of Medicine, Health and Molecular Sciences at the
James Cook University is seeking energetic individuals to fill the
following positions at our Townsville, North Queensland Campus:
COMPARATIVE GENOMICS/IMMUNOLOGY =96 Ref No 2187 An
established research scientist is sought to head a new research
group in the Comparative Genomics Centre. Expertise in one of
genetics, immunogenetics, evolutionary genetics or immunology is
preferred. The successful candidate will show a strong research
capability as well as enthusiasm for teaching undergraduate

BIOCHEMISTRY/MOLECULAR BIOLOGY =96 Ref No 2186 We are
seeking a dynamic scientist to establish an independent research
program and contribute to the teaching of biochemistry and
molecular biology to undergraduate science, pharmacy and
medical students. For consideration as Senior Lecturer candidates
are expected to have a strong record of postgraduate supervision
and funding success in national research competitive grant
