The Biology Department at the University of Nevada, Reno, is
seeking a tenure-track ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in
developmental biology, with preference for genetic approaches to
animal development. Primary criteria for this position are
excellence in research and highly effective teaching of
undergraduate and graduate students. The successful candidate
will be provided with a competitive start-up package and will be
expected to establish an externally funded research program.
Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate courses in
cellular and molecular biology, and participation in graduate
