POSTDOCTORAL POSITION

A postdoctoral position in fish reproductive biology is available to 
work within a European Union funded project "CRYOCYTE" which 
aims to the cryopreservation of fish oocytes. The successful 
candidate will employ both gilthead sea bream and zebrafish as 
experimental models, and he/she will focus research on the 
molecular and cellular regulation of fish oocyte hydration and on 
the development of in vitro procedures for promoting and 
manipulating oocyte development using molecular markers. A 
contrasted experience in cell and molecular biology is required. 
Previous experience on fish reproduction or aquaculture is not 
essential.  

Applicant will be based in the Center of Aquaculture-IRTA (San 
Carlos de la R=E1pita, Tarragona, Spain) and will collaborate closely 
with 5 other European laboratories. Early applications are
