I am trying to establish an updated consensus of the most optimal
parameters for zebrafish rearing.

Please try and take the time to fill in your parameters on the
following subjects:

water quality parameters:

pH
room temperature
water temperature
alkalinity
Ca hardness
conductivity
ammonia
nitrate
nitrite
salinity
chlorine
DO

water source
nutrition
type food
volume
frequency of feedings

facility

number of tanks
number of fish per tank/stocking density
foot-candles of illumination
decibel level

population

average baby survival rates %
mortality rates%
breeding age
age of oldest fish in system
length of fecundity
average size of clutches (pairs versus group mating)

problems

Have you experienced any parasitic, bacteriological or viral
outbreaks in your system and if so, how did you resolve them?

Other problems?

If you had the ability to change something in your system, what
would it be?

Please add any additional comments categories or suggestions.
When compiled this information will be released to the list server
for the benefit of the zebrafish community. Participants may remain
anonymous.

Please direct responses to my address at: lavere at nih.gov

Thank you for your participation.
