The Department of Biology at Texas A&M University has several 
openings for developmental neuroscienctists and neuroethologists. 
There are excellent facilities for maintenance of aquatic species, 
including zebra fish (see http://www.bio.tamu.edu/). Recently, the

Faculty Positions

The Department of Biology at Texas A&M University invites 
applications to fill tenure-track positions at the level of Assistant 
Professor, but outstanding candidates at any academic level will be 
considered. We seek applicants with research interests in neurobiology 
and/or one of following general areas: developmental and cell biology, 
evolutionary biology, and computational biology. Applicants who bolster 
multiple disciplines (e.g., developmental neurobiology or 
neuroethology) are encouraged to apply. Candidates will be expected 
to develop a strong, extramurally funded research program and 
contribute to our undergraduate/graduate teaching mission. Rank and 
salary are commensurate with qualifications. The deadline for receipt 
of applications is September 15, 2003. Facilities within the Department 
of Biology and across campus support a wide range of molecular 
biological, imaging and computational/analytical technologies.
