2 Postdoctoral Positions (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor)

Postdoctoral positions are available to study CNS development and
regeneration in zebrafish. We are interested in discovering signal
transduction cascades and transcription factors that mediate CNS
development and regeneration. We have initiated a screen to
identify mutations affecting CNS development and regeneration and
are using more traditional molecular approaches to identify
promoter regulatory elements and signal transduction cascades
that regulate gene expression in the developing and regenerating
nervous system. Experience in molecular biology, genetics and
working with zebrafish a plus.
