Assistant Professor of Biology Clarkson University The Biology 
Department at Clarkson University is seeking Ph.D. applicants for a 
tenure-track faculty position in 2004.  The successful candidate must 
be committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching and maintain an 
active research program.  Areas of special interest for teaching include 
evolution, anatomy, development, and organismal biology. Research 
on model genome organisms such as zebrafish, Drosophila, or C. 
elegans would complement our interdisciplinary programs emphasizing 
health, environmental, and biomolecular science.  Clarkson is a small 
private university with a mission focused on technology serving 
humanity.  Potsdam is known an educational and cultural center of 
northern New York and is located within two hours of Montreal, Ottawa, 
Lake Placid, and the Adirondack Park.  Applicants should submit a CV, 
research and teaching statements, sample reprints, and at least three
