Research Associate II - Children's Memorial Hospital - Chicago

This is an entry or advanced level research associate position. B.S. 
in Biology with prior experience in molecular biology, biochemistry 
or embryology proffered. Designs and executes experiments, analysis 
data and compiles accurate record of data. Assists in the 
administration of projects and writing papers for academic journals, 
etc. Strict adherence to research protocols required.   

1. Independently performs various laboratory procedures, including 
DNA and protein isolation and manipulation, PCR, DNA sequencing, gel 
electrophoresis, whole mount in situ hybridization.  

2. Handles fish and setup crosses collect eggs, stage embryos, performed
small surgical procedures.
