[Zbrafish] suppliers

I recently bought males and females (1:2) from Wards for my DB class. Mating in breeding tanks failed so I placed them together in a single tank over marbles. I've gotten 2 clutches - not much. The animals arrived healthy, but they appear young (hard to tell males from females). Is the problem the supplier? I plan to call Wards and ask if they can supply older fish, but are there other suppliers of mature and productive wild types you could recommend? My class need to start their projects soon!
