[Zbrafish] A question about RNA preps

I have been doing tissue specific RNA preps with Trizol for a few months
now. Lately, I have been doing RTPCR to study differential splicing of a
certain gene. Before I go forward, my question is, does anyone use a DNAse
step in their RNA preps? I know that my preps theoretically should not
yield DNA product, but i want to be sure that the RTPCR products I am
recieving are from an RNA template and NOT from DNA. Any feedback would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks
