[Zbrafish] Phenol red for injections

Hi, We routinely use phenol red (5 mg/ml) in our injection buffer. However,
I did some morpholino injections with dye not containing phenol red and I
found that the morpholino is more potent without the dye present ­ if I
injected 8 ng with phenol red it is not toxic, but without the same amount
in injection buffer without phenol red is toxic. Has anyone else noticed
this? I¹d be glad to hear what people think. Thanks.
