Hi all,
Does anyone know of an anaesthetic that can be
used in an electrophysiology paradigm in fish? We
are interested in measuring nerve conductance
velocity. Tricaine/Mesab/MS-222 blocks action
potentials and therefore is useless for us. Has
anyone used curare to block movements? What about
analgesics?
Thanks,
Christian
