You may dechorionate the embryos both before and after fixation. Before 18 hpf it is better to do after fixation by using a pair of foreceps.

Good Luck,

Sahar

Hi
when I do in situ hybridization on early stages of embryos (50%
epiboly etc) , then in situ staining gets trapped in the chorion. Can
i remove the chorion before fixing the embryos in PFA or after fixing
them?
please help !
