Hi Michelle,

I have been working in the Zebrafish lab since 2004. I have used three brands of brine shrimps 90 % hatching rate. The price is from 40.00USD to 120.00 USD. There is no much difference if you know how long the brine shrimp eggs will be hatched. I used one kind of additives which could cause big problem in brine hatching. If your brine shrimp hatching is always good, you can try one or another. If not, it is better to be conservative.
If you have questions, please let me know.

Hi all,
Artemia cyst prices from our usual source have jumped, and so I'm
curious about your sources for cysts. We've been getting Great Salt
Lake origin cysts (85% hatch rate). Also, when talking to another
company, they mentioned a product called AlgaMac 3050, which they said
can be used to fortify the brine shrimp before feeding it to the fish,
which increases the nutritional content. Do any of you use this or a
similar product?

Thanks very much!
