Raman Mailing list name: STRUCTURAL-NMR E-mail address: str-nmr@net.bio.net Newsgroup Charter: Structural-NMR is a forum for all those interested in studying three dimensional structure of macromolecules using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (NMR). This newsgroup is geared towards those interested in: {+} determination of solution and solid state structure of macromolecules (Protein, Nucleic Acids, etc.,) using NMR methods. {+} identifying novel NMR methods to improve the quality of information gathered. {+} development of computational methods to aid in NMR data processing and analyses. {+} techniques involved in NMR sample preparation and/or characterization. {+} hardware availability, method development and troubleshooting. The function of this newsgroup is to provide: [~] a platform for discussion of new ideas and recent developments in the various disciplines impinging on the field. [~] a source of information for both novice and experienced participants. [~] a bulletin board for announcements of new books, symposia, meetings, conferences, funding/job opportunities, software, hardware and availability of unique reagents that are of interest to the structural NMR community. [~] means for initiating collaboration among participants. [~] a repository of practical advice and other information, including advances in relevant methodology. Subscribers are welcome from universities and academic institutions, government agencies, medical institutions, and industrial or commercial organizations. Contributions within the functions outlined above are strongly encouraged. Moderation Policy: Mass-posted commercial messages, chain letters, and similar postings not germane to structural NMR (i.e. categorized as spams or "junk mail") will be deleted without comment. Inappropriate messages posted in good faith will be returned to the sender. Messages not strictly within the charter but likely to be of interest to many subscribers are acceptable.
