A significant percentage of the mutagenic events that result during
T-DNA insertional mutagenesis are not the result of insertion of all,
or even a large part, of a T-DNA. In other words, many of the mutant
loci identified in "T-DNA tagged ines" are not, in fact, "tagged". In
these cases, what are the typical sizes/natures of the mutations? A few
base pairs? 10 base pairs? 20 base pairs? Insertions, deletions,
rearrangements?
