University of California, Berkeley
A post-doctoral position is available for a candidate with a strong
background in plant science. The project, which is fully funded for
a three-year period, involves identification and recombinant
expression of plant genes encoding terpene-producing cytochrome
P450's. Previous experience with plant cytochrome P450's and/or in
isolating glandular trichomes are highly desirable. The Keasling
laboratory is an exciting, interdisciplinary group equipped with
state-of-the-art research facilities located in the California
Institute for Quantitative Biomedical Research (QB3) at the
University of California, Berkeley.
