Two Postdoctoral Positions in Functional Genomics at Cornell University
Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately. One successful
candidate will use a newly developed functional soma genomics approach to
identify anti-senescence genes in tobacco plants while the other incumbent
will decipher regulatory mechanisms of natural and dark-induced leaf
senescence in Arabidopsis.
Applicants should have received their PhD degree in biochemistry, genetics,
plant molecular biology, or a closely related field within last two
years. The applicants should be highly motivated and
career-oriented. Working experience in molecular biology is required, and
experience with Arabidopsis and/or tobacco is desirable.
To apply, please send your application with current CV, and names, phone
numbers and email addresses of at least three references to Dr. Susheng Gan
