[Arabidopsis] Due next week- US applicant funding to ICAR 2015- Paris

NAASC will award travel funding to the 26th International Conference on
Arabidopsis Research (ICAR) to US citizens/permanent residents* through a
competitive funding application process.

All applications are due (including supporting documents) by email no
later than the by end of the day (Pacific time) on March 6th, 2015.

ICAR 2015 will be July 5-9 in Paris, France

Funding is in 2 categories:

(1) Full funding for up to 7 US students, postdocs and faculty from groups
underrepresented in science in the US, and for
faculty that teach at federally-designated HBCUs/1890s/MSUIs, and TCUs
(*the latter do not have to be US citizens/permanent residents but must
teach at these US institutions, as described in the full application
document posted at http://www.arabidopsisinformatics.org/icar2015/ICAR.)

(2) Partial travel funding awards ($1,000) for up to 10 US early-career
researchers: Students, Postdocs and Junior Faculty (within first 2 years
of first
academic appointment) who are also US citizens or permanent residents.

* Awards will be announced by March 27 (prior to the early application
deadline of April 3)
