The project will involve taking a genetic approach to studying signalling events that control cell division and differentiation. Further details, including how to apply can be found on findaphd.com (http://www.findaphd.com/search/ProjectDetails.aspx?PJID=58743&LID=431).
This project is in competition with others for funding. Success will depend on the quality of applications received, relative to those for competing projects. Funding is from the Durham Doctoral Studentship programme and is extremely competitive. Applicants should hold a Master's degree, have met the Universities English language requirements (IELTS 6.5 with no component below 6.0), and have a track record in a laboratory setting ideally with contributions to the peer reviewed literature.
