Postdoctoral Opening in Membrane Structuring Mechanisms in Arabidopsis

A postdoctoral position is available immediately at University of Wisconsin-Madison. A highly motivated individual is sought to analyze membrane-structuring mechanisms during receptor signaling in Arabidopsis. These studies will integrate advanced light and electron imaging with molecular genetics and biochemistry in the laboratory of Marisa Otegui at University of Wisconsin-Madison. 

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in biochemistry, cell biology, plant biology, genetics, or a related field.  Experience with membrane protein biochemistry, proteomics, Arabidopsis genetics, and/or microscopy imaging is highly desirable. Excellent written and oral presentation skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others are expected. 

The successful candidate will join a highly interactive team of plant cell biologists, geneticists, and biochemists in a well-equipped and dynamic research environment on the campus of the UW-Madison. For more information, please visit the following websites:
