George Mrevlishvili was an extraordinary stimulating teacher deeply committed to the highest standards in academic achievement and the advancement of young scientists. His creativity, foresight, generous heart, humanity and sense of humor, as well as his many other talents made him a vibrant personality who greatly influenced his students, colleagues and scientific collaborators. The significance of his work goes beyond the boundaries of biophysics and thermodynamics of biological macromolecules. It will influence our minds and hearts for years to come. We will always treasure his dear memory and strive to apply his high standards to our research and teaching.
