DDBJ/EMBL/GenBank Feature Table Canadian mirror and DOS version

Introduction
------------
The Organelle Genome Megasequencing Program (OGMP) has put together
an enhanced version of the "DDBJ/EMBL/GenBank Feature Table definition"
document on the WWW and in DOS format.
Rationale
---------
* Enhanced hyperlinks
Additional hyperlinks not available in the EBI version of this document
have been created.
* Mirror site
Connect times to Europe are too slow to effectively use this document
as an on-line reference in Canada.
* DOS version
Constant use of this table definition necessitated having it available at
all times for reference. A DOS version was created so that it could be used
on a portable computer not connected to the Internet.
About the OGMP version
----------------------
The OGMP (Organelle Genome Megasequencing Program) HTML version of the
"DDBJ/EMBL/GenBank Feature Table Definition" document is based on the EBI
version. In the process of constructing this version, many additional
hyperlinks were created and a number of small errors were corrected. Otherwise
the content of the document is identical to the EBI version.
The WWW version of this OGMP version of the "DDBJ/EMBL/GenBank Feature Table
Definition" can be fond at:

About the OGMP DOS version
--------------------------
The major difference between the DOS version and the WWW version is file
names. As DOS is restricted to eight characters preceding the extension,
the meaningful UNIX file names (and all internal references to these file
names) had to be discarded and replaced with an arbitrary file naming.
However, as file names are not used once inside the document, arbitrary naming
is adequate. The only exception is the table of contents of the document
which is called "top.htm".
